This also applies to processing operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures.

If the processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of our company or a third party, and the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing. This is particularly the case when we use tracking to optimize the website or to measure the reach of the newsletter, as well as in corresponding direct advertising.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies," which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the website provider, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators, and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website provider. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. In addition, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

Through the obtained statistics, we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the United States, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Integration of YouTube Videos

We have included YouTube videos in our online offering, which are stored on https://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website.

By visiting the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data mentioned in §3 of this declaration is transmitted. This happens regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not wish to be associated with your YouTube profile, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for purposes of advertising, market research, and/or the design of its website to meet your needs. Such evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by YouTube can be found in the privacy policy. There, you will also find further information on your rights and settings options for the protection of your privacy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield: https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework

Facebook Custom Audiences

The website also uses the remarketing function "Custom Audiences" of Facebook Inc. ("Facebook"). As a result, users of the website can be shown interest-based advertising ("Facebook Ads") when visiting the social network Facebook or other websites that also use the procedure. We are thus pursuing the interest of displaying advertising that is of interest to you in order to make our website more interesting for you.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the server of Facebook. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data that is collected by Facebook through the use of this tool and inform you accordingly to the best of our knowledge: By integrating Facebook Custom Audiences, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our internet presence or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Facebook service, Facebook can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Facebook or have not logged in, there is still the possibility that the provider will obtain and store your IP address and other identifying features.

The deactivation of the function "Facebook Custom Audiences" is possible for logged-in users at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads#.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR. For further information on data processing by Facebook, please visit https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy

Vimeo

Our website includes plugins from the video portal Vimeo of Vimeo, LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA. When you call up a page that offers one or more Vimeo video clips, a direct connection is established between your browser and a Vimeo server in the USA, where information about your visit and your IP address is stored. By interacting with the Vimeo plugins (e.g. clicking the start button), this information is submitted and stored within Vimeo.

The privacy policy for Vimeo with further information on the collection and use of your data by Vimeo can be found at https://vimeo.com/privacy. If you have a Vimeo user account and do not want Vimeo to collect data about you through this website and link it to your stored member data on Vimeo, you must log out of Vimeo before visiting this website. Additionally, Vimeo calls the tracker Google Analytics via an iFrame, which is used to access the video. This is a separate tracking by Vimeo, to which we have no access. To prevent tracking by Google Analytics, you can use the browser plugin linked in this section under "Google Analytics."
